Vitamina is an innovative alternative rock and world fusion project that blends the energy of modern rock with the warmth of Andean folk traditions, creating immersive performances rooted in gratitude, resilience, and connection. Built around expressive songwriting, intricate acoustic guitar, Andean flutes, and cinematic arrangements, the music balances intimate moments with powerful, uplifting messages.

Performed by a dynamic live band featuring electric guitar, Andean charango, keyboards, bass, and drums, Vitamina transforms its studio recordings into expansive live experiences that invite audiences to sing, reflect, and celebrate together. Blending the communal spirit of ancestral music with the excitement of a rock concert, every performance is crafted to leave listeners feeling inspired, connected, and fully present.

Founded by Ecuadorian-American singer songwriter and recording engineer Joshua Castro, Vitamina has been active since 2018. After independently writing, recording, and producing the project's first two albums, Joshua collaborated with producer and multi instrumentalist Freddy Larrosa of Gardenhouse Records on Vitamina Psicodélica, the band's third studio album. Based in Maine during the summer and Pululahua, Ecuador during the winter, Vitamina continues to build its audience through live performances, festivals and a growing international presence.
